Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve user-reported technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity and common software problems.
• Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an IT support or help desk role.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and common office productivity software.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy Durban environment.
