What You'll Do:
Develop and nurture strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, consultants, and project managers
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, hospitality, residential, and retail sectors
Promote and sell a diverse range of decorative, architectural, commercial, and smart lighting solutions
Prepare quotations, deliver product presentations, and develop lighting proposals
Assist customers with product selection based on technical and aesthetic requirements
Manage projects from initial enquiry to after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction
Conduct regular customer visits and product demonstrations
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging market trends
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to generate new business
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project execution
Requirements:
3-5 years of external sales experience, preferably in project sales and specification selling
Strong knowledge of lighting products and market segments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
A driven professional with strong time management skills
Nice to Have:
Industry-specific knowledge in construction, retail, hospitality, electrical, or electronics sectors
