Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Property Manager to oversee their portfolio of properties in and around Richards Bay. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of property maintenance, tenant relations, and financial management. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and owners, ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of each property. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to take ownership of a property portfolio, contribute to tenant satisfaction, and ensure the long-term value preservation and enhancement of real estate assets in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor management.
• Screen and select prospective tenants, conduct property viewings, and manage lease agreements.
• Collect rent payments, manage property budgets, and handle financial reporting.
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management.
• Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations in South Africa.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits in Richards Bay and surrounding areas.
