Lead BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead BIM Coordinator to oversee their Building Information Modeling processes in Centurion . This critical role involves establishing and enforcing BIM standards, managing the federated model, and ensuring seamless data flow across all project stakeholders. You will be responsible for guiding a team of BIM specialists and ensuring the successful implementation of BIM on complex architectural and construction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of BIM workflows, software, and their application in delivering efficient and high-quality project outcomes within a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for all projects.
• Manage and coordinate the federated BIM model, resolving clashes and ensuring data integrity.
• Lead and mentor the BIM coordination team, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective BIM integration.
• Conduct regular model reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Facilitate BIM training and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in BIM coordination and management, with a proven track record on large-scale projects.
• Expert knowledge of Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM execution plans.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in BIM are highly desirable.
