About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Registered Architect to join their team in Vereeniging . This position offers the chance to lead significant architectural projects, from conceptual design through to project completion, contributing to the built environment of the Gauteng province . You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction. The role embraces a hybrid work model, blending focused office work with the flexibility of remote collaboration, fostering a productive and adaptable work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for architectural projects, developing innovative concepts and solutions.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Manage project execution, including budget control, timeline adherence, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals.
• Conduct site visits and reviews to monitor construction progress and address site queries.

Requirements

• Professional registration as an Architect with SACAP.
• Significant experience (e.g., 5+ years) in architectural design and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and other relevant architectural design tools.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, planning laws, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
