About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior HR Specialist focusing on Compensation & Benefits for their operations in Durban. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company offers competitive and equitable compensation packages, managing benefits programs, and maintaining HR data integrity. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and administering C&B strategies that attract and retain top talent, aligning with market trends and organizational financial goals. This position requires a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and HR analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and administer the company's compensation strategy, including salary structures, incentive plans, and executive compensation.
- Manage and enhance employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and cost-effective C&B offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports for C&B analysis and decision-making. Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure seamless administration of C&B programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of specialized experience in Compensation and Benefits management.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in salary benchmarking and benefits analysis.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, and statistical analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws pertaining to C&B.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets.
