About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Director - Gauteng to spearhead their operational initiatives and drive business growth within the province. This leadership role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services and products, managing key operational functions, and leading a team of dedicated professionals in Pretoria. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of operations within the Gauteng province, including planning, execution, and optimization of business processes.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets.
• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor operational performance against key metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and implementing necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Manage departmental budgets, ensure efficient resource allocation, and oversee financial performance for operational units.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies in the Pretoria region.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing operational strategies that have led to significant business improvements.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies, financial management, and performance tracking.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
