Remote HR Generalist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and versatile Remote HR Generalist to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across various locations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration for a distributed workforce.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are relevant for a remote workforce .
• Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and the promotion of a healthy work-life balance.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and ensure data integrity for virtual employees .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Proven experience managing HR functions in a remote or distributed work setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with South African labor laws and employment equity.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and HR software.
