Remote Pharmaceutical Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Pharmaceutical Data Analyst to join their expanding operations. This position is critical for extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets related to clinical trials, sales performance, and market trends, enabling informed strategic decision-making. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure data integrity and provide actionable intelligence. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote position combined with the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of pharmaceutical product development and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including clinical trial data, sales reports, and market research.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in pharmaceutical data and provide comprehensive interpretations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, POPIA).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance strategies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a data analyst, with specific experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
