About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial Property Architect to join their team in Nelspruit , focusing on the design and development of innovative commercial properties. This role involves overseeing projects from conceptualization through to construction, ensuring architectural excellence, functionality, and marketability. You will collaborate with developers, leasing agents, and engineering consultants to create commercial spaces that meet the evolving needs of businesses and tenants. This is a prime opportunity to shape the commercial landscape of the Mpumalanga region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for a range of commercial property developments , including office buildings, retail centers, and mixed-use complexes.
• Develop innovative design concepts that align with market demands and client objectives.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, urban planners, and interior designers.
• Ensure all designs adhere to zoning regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards applicable in Nelspruit .
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Manage the construction administration phase, ensuring the project is built according to design specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Professional Architect qualification (PrArch) and registration with SACAP.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in architectural practice, with a significant focus on commercial property design.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of market trends in commercial real estate and tenant requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and visualization software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
