About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Childcare Coordinator to manage the operations of their childcare center in East London . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children, and maintaining strong relationships with parents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, a deep understanding of childcare best practices, and a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education. This position is vital for the smooth and effective functioning of the center and the positive development of all children in care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Manage, train, and support a team of childcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
• Liaise with parents, addressing inquiries and concerns, and fostering positive communication.
• Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and resource management.

Requirements

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Management, or a related field.
• Significant experience in childcare, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and regulatory standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in administrative and operational management.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive, nurturing environment in East London .
