About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Corporate Governance Specialist to oversee and enhance governance practices within their organisation in Port Elizabeth . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's corporate governance framework and policies.

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, King IV Report, and other relevant corporate governance codes.
• Manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
• Conduct governance reviews and risk assessments, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, or company secretarial roles.
• Thorough understanding of South African corporate law and governance principles (King IV is essential).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and board members in Port Elizabeth .
