About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal with expertise in Conveyancing to join their busy practice in Port Elizabeth . This role is crucial for managing the intricacies of property transfers, ensuring all legal documentation is accurate and compliant. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review all necessary documentation for property transfers, including deeds of sale, bonds, and cancellations.
• Manage the entire conveyancing process from instruction to registration, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and government departments (e.g., Deeds Office).
• Conduct searches and verify property ownership and encumbrances.
• Ensure compliance with relevant property laws, regulations, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized client files and transaction records.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Paralegal Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in conveyancing.
• Proficiency in relevant legal software and MS Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of the conveyancing process and related legislation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
