Senior Project Manager - Operations Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to champion operations excellence initiatives across their organization in Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for identifying and implementing process improvements, efficiency gains, and best practices that will enhance operational performance and reduce costs. You will lead cross-functional teams in analyzing current operations, designing improved workflows, and managing the successful implementation of these changes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of operational improvement projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets for operational initiatives.

• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on operations, process improvement, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing operational enhancements that resulted in measurable improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
