About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Area Operations Manager to oversee and manage operations across multiple sites in the Rustenburg region. This role demands a strong leader who can ensure operational consistency, drive performance metrics, and uphold company standards. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of operations within your designated area, focusing on efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a key position requiring hands-on management and a deep understanding of operational dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the operational activities of designated business units within the Rustenburg area.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve operational performance, profitability, and market share.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional operational staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
• Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and cost control initiatives for the area.
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in operations management , preferably with multi-site responsibility.
• Proven ability to manage and improve operational performance in a regional capacity.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience with process optimization and quality management systems.
