About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead their operations in Polokwane . This role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for guiding your team in tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, while also contributing to process improvements. This is a key position for someone passionate about logistics and warehousing , who excels in team leadership and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with the logistics department to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
