Key Responsibilities

• Identify emerging market trends and customer preferences to inform product selection.


• Source and evaluate new suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.


• Develop and manage the product assortment plan to meet sales targets and margin goals.


• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations teams to optimize stock flow and minimize markdowns.


• Analyze sales data, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine buying strategies.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Buyer or Merchandiser, with a strong portfolio.


• Deep understanding of product sourcing, negotiation, and merchandise planning.


• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.


• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.


• Proficiency in retail inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.


• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
