About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Automotive Sales Manager to lead their high-performing sales team at their flagship dealership in Sandton . You will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and motivating the sales staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of the automotive market, strong strategic planning abilities, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. We are seeking an experienced leader who can foster a positive and competitive sales culture within a prestigious automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed dealership sales objectives for new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the sales team to maximize their performance and productivity.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies as needed to drive results.
• Ensure all sales team members adhere to dealership policies, ethical sales practices, and customer service standards .
• Manage inventory levels and assist in vehicle acquisition and pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, resolving any escalated issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry, with a track record of success.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
