# Test Technician – Services**Job Category:** Technical Automotive Quality**Job Type:** Contract**Job Location:** Pretoria**ABOUT THIS ROLE** Are you an experienced automotive technician with strong technical skills and an eye for detail?A well-established organisation is looking for a Test Technician – Services to join their Technical Services team in Rosslyn on a initial Fixed-Term Contract ending December 2026.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle testing, fault finding and pre-delivery inspections, while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with company and customer requirements.This role is suited to a technically skilled and methodical individual who can work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy.---**WHAT YOU WILL DO** Conduct vehicle testing in accordance with company and customer standards Review test requests and ensure all required tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently Conduct pre-delivery inspections on vehicles Investigate and diagnose faults on problem vehicles Monitor, record, and report on test results, faults, and issues Track testing progress and escalate off-spec findings to management Ensure testing procedures comply with company and customer quality and safety standards Design and develop test jigs where required to improve operational processes Accurately capture and report testing data Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition Ensure vehicles are fitted and allocated in accordance with required standards and procedures Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements---**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR** Grade 12 with strong written and spoken English Mechanical Trade Test certification Vehicle Technician qualification – Nissan N-STEP will be advantageous 3–5 years’ experience within a logistics or supply chain environment Valid Code B (08) driver’s licence with no endorsements Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment Computer literate with good MS Office skills Strong technical and analytical ability Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Strong communication and organisational skills Proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused Must have a clear criminal record---If you are a technically skilled automotive professional looking for an opportunity to apply your expertise in a quality-driven technical environment, we’d love to hear from you.
