Senior Sound Designer - Game Development

About the Role

You will lead the sound design process from conception to implementation, working with developers and artists to create impactful audio elements that define their titles. Key Responsibilities

• Design, record, edit, and mix high-quality sound effects, ambient audio, and musical elements for video games.
• Implement audio assets using game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and other artists to integrate audio seamlessly into gameplay.
• Develop and maintain audio style guides and technical specifications for game sound.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior sound designers and contribute to team growth.
• Stay current with advancements in audio technology, game engines, and sound design techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sound design for video games .
• Proven track record of creating immersive and dynamic audio for diverse game genres.
• Expertise in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Reaper, or Cubase.
• Proficiency with game engines (Unity/Unreal) and audio middleware (Wwise/FMOD).
• Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio mixing principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote work environment .
