About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Lawyer to join their innovative, fully remote legal department. You will provide strategic legal counsel on IP matters, manage IP portfolios, and support the company's innovation and product development initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prosecute patent, trademark, and copyright applications globally.
• Advise on IP protection strategies, including registration, enforcement, and portfolio management.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licenses, joint development agreements, and assignments.
• Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Assist in resolving IP disputes, including infringement claims and opposition proceedings.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on IP best practices and risk management.

Requirements

• Admitted attorney with significant experience (6+ years) in intellectual property law .
• Proven expertise in patent prosecution, trademark registration, and copyright law.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex IP licensing and technology transfer agreements.
• Strong understanding of IP litigation and enforcement strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into legal strategies.
• Proficiency in managing IP portfolios and working effectively within a remote collaboration framework.
