About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Mechanical Systems Installer to support their operations in Bloemfontein . This role involves the installation and assembly of various mechanical systems and components, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to project specifications. You will work on diverse projects, contributing to the infrastructure and operational capabilities of clients in the Free State . The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong practical skills in mechanical assembly and a commitment to safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and integrate mechanical systems, components, and equipment according to detailed plans and specifications.


• Perform precision fitting, aligning, and securing of mechanical parts using various tools and equipment.


• Conduct initial system checks and functional tests post-installation to ensure proper operation and performance.


• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical installation issues, making necessary adjustments or modifications.


• Ensure all work complies with established safety standards and company procedures for mechanical installations.


• Maintain accurate records of installation progress, materials used, and any encountered challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical installation, assembly, or a related trade.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings , schematics, and technical documentation.


• Skilled in the use of a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for mechanical work.


• Understanding of basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and other common mechanical systems.


• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with team members.


• Physical ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting and work in various site conditions.
