Telecom Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks a strategic and detail-oriented Telecom Project Manager to oversee critical projects from initiation to completion in Rustenburg . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure projects align with company objectives in the fast-paced telecoms sector . The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and a deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of telecommunications projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining tasks, milestones, and required deliverables.
• Coordinate and direct cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations for telecom infrastructure .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the telecommunications industry .
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of telecom network technologies , deployment processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
