About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Industrial Engineering Specialist to join their team in Soweto . This role focuses on the practical application of industrial engineering principles to optimize day-to-day operations, improve workflow, and ensure maximum efficiency in a manufacturing or production environment. You will be involved in analyzing processes, implementing solutions, and working closely with production teams to achieve performance targets. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current production processes and identify bottlenecks or areas for efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line workers to implement new methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or operations support role.
• Proficiency in process analysis tools and techniques, such as time studies and motion analysis .
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
