About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team, serving clients across South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing innovative and robust telecommunications solutions that meet complex business requirements and leverage the latest technologies. You will engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs, translating them into technical blueprints and strategic roadmaps. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of telecommunications for a diverse clientele, working from anywhere within the country and collaborating with a distributed, highly skilled team focused on excellence and client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end telecommunications solutions , encompassing network infrastructure, services, and applications.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and vendor solutions to enhance service offerings and client value.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful solution implementation and delivery.
- Develop technical proposals, presentations, and documentation for client engagements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineering staff on complex projects .
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, with a significant focus on solution architecture and design.
- Deep understanding of various network technologies, including 5G, fiber optics, cloud networking, and IoT.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging C-level executives.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CCIE) are highly desirable.
