Pediatric Caregiver and Educator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Caregiver and Educator to provide comprehensive care and educational support for their children in Mossel Bay . This role is crucial in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes healthy development and learning. You will manage daily routines, plan engaging activities, and ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the children. The ideal candidate is compassionate, proactive, and possesses a strong understanding of child development, committed to fostering a positive atmosphere within the home, ensuring children receive attentive care and engaging educational experiences that prepare them for future learning and social interactions in a seaside community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for children, including feeding, hygiene, and general supervision.
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Ensure the children's safety and security at all times, both inside and outside the home.
• Manage children's daily schedules, including naps, meals, and playtime.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children's activities and belongings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pediatric caregiver or in a similar childcare role.
• Strong knowledge of child development stages and best practices in childcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging and educational activities.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• A patient, nurturing, and responsible attitude towards children.
