About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for applications such as fraud detection, credit scoring, and algorithmic trading.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining on large, complex datasets.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on financial applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative environment.
