About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Associate to join their vibrant legal team in George. You will work closely with senior attorneys, assisting in the development of case strategies, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the investigation and analysis of case facts and legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedents.
• Support senior lawyers in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records of all legal activities.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as directed.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with a maximum of 3 years post-admission experience.
• Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet strict deadlines.
