About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Remote Delivery Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize delivery operations for drivers working in the Mahikeng region and beyond. This fully remote position requires a skilled professional to oversee daily dispatch, ensure timely deliveries, and provide crucial support to the driver workforce. You will leverage technology to manage logistics, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This role is critical for maintaining our service commitment and ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries from a virtual command center, supporting our drivers in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily delivery schedules for a fleet of drivers operating in the Mahikeng area.
• Utilize dispatch software and tracking systems to monitor driver progress and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, such as traffic delays or customer issues, communicating solutions to drivers and management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers needing support, assistance, or information during their shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver performance, and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with other operational teams to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch operations, or a related role, preferably in a remote capacity.
• Strong proficiency with dispatching software, GPS tracking tools, and communication platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to react quickly under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for remote team management.
