Operations Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Operations Analyst to join their team in Paarl , contributing to the optimization of their industrial operations. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within production and logistical processes. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze operational data from various sources, including production, inventory, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track key operational metrics (KPIs).
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Collaborate with operations managers and industrial engineers to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation based on data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in an operations analysis or industrial engineering support role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of industrial operations and supply chain principles.
• Effective communication skills for reporting findings and recommendations.
