About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Catering Manager to oversee catering services for high-profile events in the scenic region of Stellenbosch . This role requires a blend of client management, operational oversight, and culinary understanding to deliver exceptional experiences. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all catering aspects, ensuring flawless service from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all aspects of event catering, from client consultation to final service delivery.
• Develop proposals, menus, and budgets in collaboration with clients and the culinary team.
• Oversee on-site setup, service, and breakdown of catering operations.
• Supervise and coordinate catering staff, ensuring professionalism and high service standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations .

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event management or catering management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and costing.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment , managing tasks both remotely and on-site.
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
