About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of diverse construction and infrastructure projects in Bloemfontein. This role is central to ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion, managing all aspects of planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination. You will be instrumental in driving project success, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, from planning and design to construction and handover.
• Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to potential issues.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with complex requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and site supervision.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
