Hotel Sales and Marketing Director

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Hotel Sales and Marketing Director to lead all sales and marketing efforts for their premier property in Bloemfontein . This executive position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive room nights, events, and ancillary revenue. You will lead a dynamic sales and marketing team, build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners, and oversee all promotional activities to enhance the hotel's brand presence and market share in the region. This is a key leadership role focused on growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets for rooms, MICE, and F&B.
• Lead, train, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and team goals.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and wholesalers.
• Oversee the hotel's digital marketing strategy, including website, social media, and online advertising.
• Manage the hotel's public relations and communications efforts to enhance brand visibility.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing leadership roles.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and revenue management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales and marketing team in Bloemfontein .
