About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead operational excellence from their Polokwane hub. This role is essential for optimizing daily workflows, managing departmental resources, and driving efficiency across all operational functions within the Limpopo region. You will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive operational leadership experience and a proven ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans and process improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and P&L to meet financial targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals, promoting a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and implementing process improvements.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within a hybrid operational framework is advantageous.
