Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware schematics and PCB layouts.
• Select microcontrollers, sensors, and other components for embedded systems.
• Integrate hardware with firmware, collaborating closely with software engineers.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional testing of embedded prototypes.
• Develop and maintain hardware documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
• Stay current with advancements in embedded systems technology and component trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design.
• Proficiency with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, RISC-V) and development tools.
• Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and layout best practices.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
