About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Content Strategist to join their remote team, supporting their marketing efforts relevant to East London . This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective digital content strategies that align with business objectives, engage target audiences, and drive measurable results. You will oversee content creation, distribution, and optimization across various digital channels, ensuring high-quality, relevant, and impactful content. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong understanding of SEO, user experience, and content performance analytics, thriving in a collaborative remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with marketing goals and target audience needs.
  • Plan, create, and manage engaging and SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitor research to inform content strategy.
  • Oversee the content lifecycle, including content creation, editing, publishing, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality digital content assets.
  • Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) and use insights to refine strategy and improve results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital content strategy, content marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Proven expertise in SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and content optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they relate to content.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and a data-driven approach to strategy.
