About the Role

Our client is seeking a warm and nurturing Childminder and Early Years Facilitator to join their dedicated team in George . This role involves providing exceptional care and educational experiences for young children in a safe and stimulating home-based or small center environment. You will be responsible for fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where children can thrive. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental activities, including creative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor exploration.
• Support children's learning by facilitating early literacy and numeracy skills through engaging methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Observe and record children's behavior and development, identifying any needs or areas for support.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young children in a childminding or early years setting.
• A genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to create a stimulating and safe environment for children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents.
