About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Online Tutor specializing in Advanced Mathematics to join their fully remote team. This role focuses on providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to high school and university students globally, helping them master complex mathematical concepts and prepare for exams. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics education, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a flexible, remote work environment. You will leverage digital tools to create personalized learning experiences, foster student confidence, and contribute to academic success, regardless of geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in subjects such as calculus, linear algebra, statistics, and differential equations.
• Develop personalized learning plans for students based on their academic needs and learning goals.
• Provide clear explanations, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and offer constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress, track performance, and communicate regularly with students and/or parents about achievements and areas for improvement.
• Utilize online whiteboards, video conferencing tools, and other digital resources to facilitate interactive learning sessions.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrable experience in tutoring or teaching advanced mathematics at the high school or university level.
• Exceptional ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and virtual learning environments.
• Strong internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace for remote sessions.
