Management Consultant - Financial Advisory

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Management Consultant with a specialization in Financial Advisory to join their practice in Bloemfontein . This role is critical in providing clients with expert guidance on financial strategy, performance optimization, and risk management. You will conduct thorough financial analyses, develop strategic recommendations, and assist clients in making informed decisions to enhance profitability and shareholder value. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic direction of businesses in the Free State region, based from our Bloemfontein office.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial due diligence, analysis, and forecasting for clients.
• Develop financial strategies, models, and business plans to support client objectives.
• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing valuation and deal structuring support.
• Assist clients in improving financial performance, cost management, and capital allocation.
• Provide insights on financial risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Present complex financial information and strategic recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and strategic financial planning.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
