About the Role

Our client in Mossel Bay, Western Cape is looking for a reliable Fleet Driver with a Code 10 license to manage their fleet's delivery and transport needs. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations by ensuring goods are delivered to customers and sites promptly and securely. You will be responsible for operating light to medium commercial vehicles, performing routine checks, and maintaining a high standard of service. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent driving skills, and understands the importance of punctuality and customer interaction in the Western Cape region. This position is suitable for a driver committed to safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute timely and accurate deliveries of goods to specified locations within and around Mossel Bay.
• Operate a Code 10 vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all road traffic regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking tire pressure, fluids, and overall condition.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
• Provide professional customer service during delivery interactions.

Requirements

• Valid South African Code 10 driver's license with a PrDP.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of the Mossel Bay and surrounding Western Cape area's road networks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods.
• A strong commitment to safety and professionalism on the road.
