About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join their remote team, supporting operations across various locations. This role is integral to managing the flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and liaising with various stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the strategic management of our client's supply chain from a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain , including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms.
- Track shipments and manage logistics to optimize delivery times and costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast future demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, production, finance) to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management , logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory control, and transportation management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively remotely.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
