Industrial Engineer - Plant Operations

Our client is seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer to enhance plant operations through innovative process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows, equipment performance, and resource allocation to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Design, implement, and document new or modified manufacturing processes and plant layouts.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, to reduce waste and optimize operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for production personnel.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve reliability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production efficiency, costs, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and experience in their practical application.
- Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and guide operational teams.
