About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Process Engineer to enhance and optimize manufacturing processes at their facility in Klerksdorp . You will be instrumental in identifying inefficiencies, developing solutions, and implementing improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality output. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and analytical acumen to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment. You will work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement new process technologies and methodologies.
- Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process changes.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and control plans.
- Monitor production performance metrics and report on key indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams in Klerksdorp .
