Event Coordinator - Live Productions

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to join their Live Productions team in Randburg . You will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of various live events within the Arts & Entertainment industry, ensuring seamless operations from conception to completion. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional event experiences for artists and audiences alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of live events, including venue selection, vendor management, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Communicate effectively with artists, production crew, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Manage event logistics on-site, including setup, registration, guest services, and troubleshooting.
• Develop event timelines and run sheets, ensuring all parties adhere to schedules.
• Handle post-event tasks such as vendor reconciliation, feedback collection, and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination or management, preferably within the Arts & Entertainment or live events sector.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
