Catering Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Catering Supervisor to manage and coordinate catering services remotely, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing catering staff, managing event setups, and ensuring all catering functions are executed flawlessly, despite the dispersed nature of the team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our client's catering services, contributing to the success of events and client relationships, all from a remote work setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of catering staff during events and operational periods.
• Ensure proper setup, presentation, and breakdown of catering services according to client specifications.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Train and mentor new catering staff on service protocols and company policies.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies and ensure equipment is well-maintained and accounted for.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service, event coordination, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure.
