Senior UX/UI Designer - E-commerce Platforms

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UX/UI Designer to elevate the user experience of their leading e-commerce platforms. This fully remote role will focus on creating intuitive, engaging, and conversion-optimized digital interfaces. You will lead the design process from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final UI design, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams. We are looking for a design thinker with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for crafting seamless online shopping experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and market analysis to identify user needs and pain points within e-commerce environments.
• Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user journey.
• Optimize existing user interfaces for improved conversion rates, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices in the e-commerce industry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on e-commerce or similar digital product development.
• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design for digital products.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Experience working effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
