About the Role
Our client, a dynamic recruitment consultancy, is seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to focus on graduate and entry-level placements from their Soweto office. This role is vital for connecting emerging talent with opportunities across various industries in Gauteng . You will be responsible for identifying potential candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process, and fostering relationships with companies looking to build their future workforce. This hybrid role offers a mix of collaborative office-based work and flexible remote engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview graduate and entry-level candidates for a variety of positions.
- Build relationships with universities, colleges, and career centers to identify talent pools.
- Manage the recruitment process from application to offer, providing guidance and support to candidates.
- Partner with clients to understand their entry-level hiring needs and talent requirements.
- Utilize recruitment software and social media platforms to attract and engage with early-career professionals.
- Organize and participate in career fairs and recruitment events (both virtual and in-person).
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or a related field, with a passion for early-career talent.
- Strong understanding of the graduate job market in South Africa .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse candidate pools.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and online platforms.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple candidate pipelines.
- Experience or interest in working within a hybrid model.
