About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join their dynamic content production team on a contract basis, working remotely. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging video content for various digital platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines, contributing high-quality visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into compelling final products, ensuring smooth pacing, engaging visuals, and clear audio.
• Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with content strategists and marketing teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Optimize video content for different platforms and formats, considering aspect ratios and technical specifications.
• Manage video assets, ensuring proper organization and archival of footage and final projects.
• Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and video production workflows.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a remote capacity.
