About the Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design process for groundbreaking products, working with distributed teams and leveraging digital collaboration tools to achieve ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the mechanical design and development of next-generation products and systems from ideation to production.
• Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of mechanical engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Develop and implement innovative mechanical solutions, addressing complex design challenges with creativity and rigor.
• Conduct advanced simulations and analyses to validate designs and optimize performance across various parameters.
• Define technical roadmaps and strategies for mechanical engineering within the innovation division.
• Facilitate remote design reviews and technical discussions, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related advanced technical field.
• Over 12 years of experience in mechanical design, with significant leadership and innovation project experience.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing novel mechanical products to market.
• Expert proficiency in advanced CAD/CAE tools and simulation methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing remote teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive technical innovation in a remote setting.
