About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team, contributing from anywhere in the world. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and detailed engineering of mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD software .
• Perform rigorous analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to validate designs under various operating conditions.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including product management, electronics, and manufacturing, through digital channels.
• Oversee and guide prototype development, testing procedures, and performance validation, ensuring data integrity.
• Contribute to material selection, process definition, and manufacturability assessments for new product designs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Demonstrated expertise in 3D CAD modeling and advanced simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting.
